Released from hospital mid-morning, after passing the
"going up and down stairs with sticks" test. Being me,
found it much easier without sticks, crutches, or whatever - more dignified
and less to trip over.
Had called - yet again - on one of the long
suffering volunteers from "car care" who offer their cars and
themselves to take transportless people like me around, wait for us
endlessly, bring us home, and do it all for a pittance.
Nice to be home - very quiet!

Quiet week - naturally - thinking about sore
knees and Albert, hearing the Loire is once again, or still, closed, and
that "Belle Etoile" is still there on next door mooring.
Trip back to the hospital for physio one
afternoon, and "encoredeB" took me shopping on
another. Thought I had enough supplies for a 6 week siege, but
still managed to fill car boot.
Inclined to spend time going through the
internet to see what I can buy for Albert, but fortunately common sense
comes to the fore - how do I carry it all back on the
train? They are all very hot on the selling but the ones I
dealt with seemed to be pretty sloppy over deliveries.
